Vancouver Seaplane Crash Information

Crashes happen but they are few and far between. All charter seaplane companies are scrutinized by Transport Canada and the Transportation Safety Board. Canadian safety standards are the highest in the world. Crashes are usually due to mechanical failure and there is only one per year on average in BC. Canada is recognized as having one of the most successful and safest civil aviation programs in the world. Transport Canada works with many companies locally to protect and maintain air safety.
