Stanley Park Attractions
Recreational activities are not in short supply in Vancouver’s Stanley Park! Enjoy the scenic 8.85 kilometer seawall on foot, on your in-line skates, or on a bicycle. Pass by bountiful gardens, forests, beaches, and beautiful ocean and city views on your trip around the world-class seawall. The park also offers a Pitch and Putt Golf Course, tennis courts, an ocean side swimming pool at Second Beach, a Children’s Farmyard, and a Miniature Railway. Tour over 15 Stanley Park attractions on the Stanley Park Shuttle, or indulge in Horse and Carriage ride to get an overview of the park.
Other attractions include the Ted and Mary Greig Rhododendron Garden, and the formal Rose Garden at the heart of the park. These gardens compliment the rich supply of cedars, hemlocks, and firs, which you can experience first hand along the many park paths. Observe the captivating bird sanctuary at Lost Lagoon, which includes various species of ducks, swans, and Canada geese. In addition, visit the Lost Lagoon Nature House, which is both informative and fun! The Vancouver Aquarium is a must-see, and Theatre Under the Stars is definitely an experience to remember. During the month of October, you can also take part in an exciting Halloween Ghost Train ride!
Stanley Park Restaurants and Cafés
Fine dining in Stanley Park is also available at 4 different locations. Visit the charming Ferguson Point Tea House, the Fish House Restaurant, Prospect Point Café, or Dubrulle at Stanley Park Pavillion, and experience the park to its fullest! Food concessions also spot the park for the beach-goers, cyclists, pedestrians, and in-line skaters.
