Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre, Manitoba
The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre is located in Morden, Manitoba. The museum has the largest collection of marine reptile fossils in Canada.
Fossils were collected are from the Pembina and Millwood Members of the Pierre Shale.
In 1969 the organization of the Morden and District Museum was formed. The theme of the museum was originally historical.
The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre provides a valuable interpretation of life in the Western Interior Seaway from the late Cretaceous period. The extensive collection of marine reptile fossils includes:

The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre also conducts Fossil Dig Adventure Tours for children, families, science enthusiasts of all ages.
Programs: Fossil dig programs, school programs, guided tours, children’s programs, hosting facilities, and bus tours.

Off season: 1-5pm daily
On season: 1-5pm 7 days a week.
