Edmonton Outdoors Club

The Edmonton Outdoors Club brings people together outdoors. Most events take place in the City of Edmonton.

Regular monthly outdoor activities include: hiking, camping, biking, inline skating, canoeing, skiing, boarding, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, white water rafting, caving, and dog sled tours.

Alpine Club of Canada
The Alpine Club is a mountaineering club. The club has a dozen Rocky Mountain backcountry huts. Weekend trips with a focus on mountain climbing.

Waskahegan Trail
The Waskahegan Trail is a 235km-long trail offering: day hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. The trail is open all year round. www.waskahegantrail.ca

Kinsmen Sports Centre
This multi-purpose sports facility has: an aquatic area, indoor track, fitness centre, fieldhouse, fitness program rooms, and basketball, badminton, tennis and volleyball courts. The Kinsmen Sports Centre is located in Kinsmen Park, in the scenic Edmonton River Valley. The Kinsmen Sports Centre is accessible for persons with disabilities. The Kinsmen Sports Centre has accessible parking, washrooms, change rooms, elevators, and a pool lift.
