Edmonton Folk Music Festival
This festival began in 1980 with a small core staff and 300 volunteers. Since then, the Edmonton Folk Music Festival has become to become one of the leading folk festivals in the world.http://www.edmontonfolkfest.org/
Edmonton Fringe Festival
Also known as Fringe Theatre Adventures, this is the largest and oldest Fringe festival in North America. Edmonton Street Performers Festival
Held annually in July, a company of artists from around the world flock to Sir Winston Churchill Square(Downtown Edmonton). Check the schedule before arriving; the performances are adjusted according to the weather conditions and crowds. Free admission, pay performers by donation.
