Cougar Creek Golf Resort is nestled in a natural forest on rolling terrain just west of the city of Edmonton. Cougar Creek Golf Resort is located 50 km (30 minutes) west of Edmonton. Or 4 km west of the Highway 43 (the Alaska Highway) junction on the south side of Highway 16 (also called the Yellowhead Trail/Highway).

Cougar Creek Golf Resort is a championship length golf course. Golf course architect Bill Robinson designed Cougar Creek Golf course to capitalize and enhance the existing natural rolling hills and forest.

The Par 72 course is designed for all levels. Multiple tees on every hole mean the course to can be played from 5,200 yards to a maximum of 6,900 yards. Cougar Creek Golf Course is a public facility that has a daily green fee play. Its distance to the city of Edmonton and multiple on site facilities make it a good choice for hosting groups and corporate events.

The golf season at Cougar Creek begins in mid April and finishes in October. The hours of operation vary with the season and weather, so check the website for details.
